The Village of Cordova is a small, quaint community located just a few miles north of the Quad-Cities on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River.
Mosquito spraying will be Friday, August 15th in the evening, weather permitting. This spray could be a day before or after depending on weather. This will be the 3rd spray of the season. The Village will have one more spraying at the end of summer and it will be posted on our website.

This is all possible because of the generous donations given and everyone's continued support and time. This Fall, join River Action for our 20th annual Taming of the Slough Adventure Triathlon!
Compete individually, as a 2-person team, a 3-person relay team, or join the Corporate Challenge to Tame the Slough.
Paddle 2.5 miles through the Sylvan Slough, mountain bike 7.5 miles on Sylvan Island’s single-track trails , and finish with a 2 mile run over the I-74 bridge.
River Action's 25th Annual Senior Citizen Riverfront Golf Cart Tours
Senior citizens 55+, come join the fun in guided golf cart tours of riverfront trails on both sides of the Mississippi! This is a fun way to gain knowledge on the past, present, and future of the Quad Cities and the Mississippi River. Tours fill up fast, and carts are limited! The fee is $35 per cart for two participants, per tour. This event is held rain or shine; no refunds will be given. Valid driver's license required.
