Taming the Slough
TAMING OF THE SLOUGH ADVENTURE RACE
This Fall, join River Action for our 20th annual Taming of the Slough Adventure Triathlon!
Compete individually, as a 2-person team, a 3-person relay team, or join the Corporate Challenge to Tame the Slough.
Paddle 2.5 miles through the Sylvan Slough, mountain bike 7.5 miles on Sylvan Island’s single-track trails , and finish with a 2 mile run over the I-74 bridge.

River Action's 25th Annual Senior Citizen Riverfront Golf Cart Tours
Thursday, September 4 & Friday, September 5
Senior citizens 55+, come join the fun in guided golf cart tours of riverfront trails on both sides of the Mississippi! This is a fun way to gain knowledge on the past, present, and future of the Quad Cities and the Mississippi River. Tours fill up fast, and carts are limited! The fee is $35 per cart for two participants, per tour. This event is held rain or shine; no refunds will be given. Valid driver's license required.
Cost is $35 PER CART (two people per cart) - not per person!
