 The Village of Cordova is a small, quaint community located just a few miles north of the Quad-Cities on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River.

Fire Hydrant Flushing

Will be in the month of May 2025.

Please watch the website for the approximate days this will take place. If you see a fluctuation in your water pressure this is normal. If you see discoloration please let your water run for a short time until it clears.

Elevated Water Tank

The Village will be draining the elevated water tank for it's inspection and cleaning. At this time we do not have a date from the contractor. Please continue to look at the website and we'll have updates. When this does happen you may see a fluctuation in your water pressure. There may also be some discoloration, if this does happen please let your water run for a short time until it clears.

Curbside clean up June 2nd-6th.

Bulk Waste Collection

Village will have a curbside clean up. June 2nd-June 6th. YOU MUST HAVE OUT BY 6AM JUNE 2ND, ONCE THEY PASS BY YOUR ROAD/RESIDENCE THEY'LL NOT RETURN FOR LATE SETOUTS. Please see the flyer for all details.

Monday, May 26 - Honoring those lost at Sea @12:30 PM at the river, at the old Boathouse location. Honoring our Fallen Military 1 PM at the Cordova Township Cemetery.

Residents can drop off old eyeglasses at the Cordova Township office entrance. Give someone the gift of sight.

May 3, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Village maintenance shed. Please bring your insurance card as we'll need a copy. The fee is $25.00 for the sticker.
